The Washington State Department of Labor & Industries updated their website a couple years ago. Part of that revamp was to make it easier for folks to access the website in their preferred language. So, when Lni.wa.gov was available in Spanish, it was a big deal.
We made a couple of simple pieces to get the word out about the release of the website in Spanish. We kept the color palette similar to the website itself and focused on compositions that made the information the most important thing on the screen.
All of the screens in this spot are composited. We added the Spanish website to the screens after the fact for what we shot and for the stock videos we used. I utilized Adobe Premiere for the primary edit, After Effects for the composites, and Blender for the render of the laptop with the Spanish page.
For this one, Spanish was the primary. So we also made an English version.
