Executive, Administrative, and Professional employee salary threshold animations

A new rule was made regarding overtime exempt employees in the state of Washington and we needed something simple, fun, and explanatory to let folks know. I led and produced this campaign of three simple animated shorts which gave different scenarios across multiple industries to help better explain the new rules.

I utilized Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects to create and animate each element in the spots. I focused on a vibrant color palette to convey the “good news” of the rule. While we also focused on representation across individuals and multiple industries, we kept the people generically designed to be as inclusive as possible.

I had a lot of fun with this project. It would be the foundations for how I handled a future animation project for our Stay At Work campaign.
