Veterans Day Recap Spot
Similar to the Worker Memorial Day ceremony recap that we produce at Labor & Industries, we do the same for the annual Veterans Day Celebration. L&I prides itself on hiring veterans and the work they do for the agency. So, every year, we interview veterans on staff who volunteer and share their story.
It’s a really important event for me as a civilian to thank these veterans for their service, so I always put in a lot of effort to make sure the piece is nice and polished.
The work is intense. Like the Worker Memorial recap spot mentioned above, it’s a lot of work to produce and distribute in a short period of time, but it is worth it. This recap video is one from the 2025 ceremony and featured retired L&I staff member Carol Horrell who came back for the event to bear the flag for her military branch.
