WIAT CBS 42 – Giveaway Template and Holiday ID

I was tasked with another freelance project from a CBS affiliate in Alabama. The premise behind this was to create a basic 3D animation that the in-house editors could plug their own stuff into as needed. I went with a generic white backdrop so that the editors could flash out of it as necessary. Given my new understanding of lighting and scene composition, I definitely have some improvements that I would make on this piece, but it served the client’s desires, nonetheless.

For this project, the client just wanted a simple 5 second ID for the station with a bit of a holiday theme. It’s another simple design and I would like another crack at the camera animation, but the client was satisfied. Considering this is one of the first paid animations I ever did, I am fairly proud of the work.
