Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education – ANSWERS

Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) ANSWERS is a program that tracks data of students who have graduated from postsecondary education anonymously to find out if certain programs are working or if resources could be better used elsewhere. This video was produced by the state as a way of asking to maintain funding for the program because of how beneficial it is to deciding the rest of the education budget.

For this project, we shot on location in Anchorage, Juneau and Fairbanks to meet with several educational leaders around the state and hear their side for why ANSWERS is an important program. I put the final edit together to make their answer coherent and succinct. This was the first long form piece I had ever edited so fully and it was amazing to see all of the little bits and pieces we had gathered around the state come together so nicely.
